The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in commercial, residential, and post-construction environments as assigned.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean various surfaces.
- Clean and maintain washrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces.
- Follow cleaning checklists and instructions provided for each client location.
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Maintain professionalism and attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Respond to scheduled and occasional on-call cleaning assignments based on client needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
- Good physical stamina.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation is an asset.
- Positive attitude toward cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible availability is required.
- Availability for occasional weekday assignments.
- Availability for occasional evening assignments.
- Availability for occasional weekend assignments.
- Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on available work and client bookings.
- This is a casual, on-call position.
